Our Powerful Mind Tools

In our quest for success, more creativity, goal achievement, and a multitude of other embodiments of personal growth…there are special components of the mind that can be utilized to accelerate our growth exponentially. When we talk about the mind, it’s important to realize that our total mind is actually made up of three separate components…that when used properly together, can virtually guarantee success in almost any endeavor.

The conscious, subconscious, and superconscious minds are the powerful parts that make up the total mind…and the best part is that we all possess these wonderful tools of the mind! Each of these aspects of the mind are vital pieces that were designed by our Creator to help us achieve all of our dreams, goals, and desires.

Now that we know what they are…lets define each aspect of the mind a little. Then we can discuss how these powerful components of the total mind can be utilized together in the way they were always intended to be.

Conscious Mind: The Programmer

The first mind component we will talk about is probably the one we are all most familiar with. The conscious mind is what many call the reasoning mind or decision making mind. When many of us are talking about the mind, the conscious mind is what we are actually referring to.

It is through the conscious mind that we make all our decisions from…and form all of our beliefs from. We use the conscious mind to reason through the data presented to us…and then assign priorities and tasks based on our current belief systems.

Along with those aspects of the conscious mind just discussed, another very important function of the conscious mind…is to set goals that can basically be programmed into the subconscious mind. This programming aspect of the conscious mind is a very powerful tool for the achievement of goals…because it sets in motion the incredible computing and problem solving functions of the subconscious mind.

Subconscious Mind: The Biological Machine

As the title of this section suggest…the subconscious mind can be thought of as a biological computing machine with immense powers for problem solving. The subconscious mind is truly the workhorse for our entire mind.

The subconscious mind is the portion of the mind that controls all of our automatic bodily functions such as controlling vital organs associated with blood flow, digestion, etc. The subconscious mind is also the mind component that controls the release of vital hormones that can stimulate such things as the “fight or flight” response when we feel threatened by external forces.

The subconscious mind is also the seat for all of our stored memories. Just like a computer…the subconscious mind can utilize the vast amount of stored memories to help solve problems and come up with creative solutions. Therefore, it is important for us to try and gain as much knowledge about as many subjects as possible…because the subconscious mind may be able to use external data and the stored information we have in our memories to formulate new solutions to problems, and plans towards any goals we may have.

In regards to the successful achievement of our goals…it is very important that we try to form new positive habits. In essence, the subconscious mind has the ability to take regular thought patterns and actions…and turn them into positive habits that can really accelerate our personal growth and ability to achieve our dreams and desires. Another great reason for developing positive habits is that we can also induce our superconscious mind to come into play…and that’s when some really “miraculous” things can start to occur in our lives.

Superconscious Mind: The Universal Mind

When we utilize the superconscious mind, we are going beyond our physical bodies…and into the spiritual realms. The superconscious mind is in fact referred by many as the human spirit, soul, or universal mind. As an actual fragment of God itself, our souls have incredible powers and connections that go way beyond our physical reality.

Because of the Universal Mind’s unique connection to all other minds and Infinite Intelligence…many psychic powers are possible as we engage our superconsciousness. Extrasensory Perception (ESP), Telepathy, Telekinesis, and Clairvoyance are just some of the amazing psychic abilities available to those who learn how to truly tap into the powers of the Superconscious Mind.

Along with the amazing psychic abilities available to each of us, being tapped into the Universal Mind allows us the opportunity to access the vast amount of knowledge that is part of the Superconscious Mind. Throughout history there has been many names given for this vast storehouse of knowledge…and incredibly, this powerful information base is available for anyone who learns how to tap into it.

In regards to the successful achievement of our goals and desires…the superconscious mind can be engaged to bring into our lives certain opportunities and synchronicities that can help accelerate the accomplishment of our life goals and dreams. In conjunction with our subconscious minds and the positive habits it helps create…our superconscious minds can work in the spiritual realms to help bring our hopes and dreams into reality.

Using the powerful components of the total mind to virtually achieve anything we set our minds to

By now I’m hoping you are beginning to realize the incredible tools of the mind you possess…and even more amazing, is the fact that each and every one of us has these same powerful mind tools at our disposal. To help ingrain the functions of each mind component…lets go through a quick set of steps we might use to achieve a specific goal.

First, because of how vital it is to insure we are programming the right goal for ourselves…we should spend some time contemplating our specific goal to make sure it is the correct one for ourselves. Once we have truly determined what we wish to accomplish…we then need to “program” it into our subconscious mind through the use of meditation, visualization, affirmations, self talk, etc.

With a firm goal input to our subconscious mind…we then step back and let the subconscious mind utilize our stored memories and all the data that our senses bring in…to begin coming up with the best plans of action for achieving our goal. As the subconscious mind prompts us towards action steps…we must then start performing the necessary actions given to us…while always remembering that these action steps should come naturally to us.

Sometimes our goals are so big (and there is nothing wrong with that)… that they require the help of the superconscious mind. As prompted by the subconscious mind, the superconscious mind will begin to tap into the vast storehouse of knowledge and spiritual connections it has available to itself…to bring into our lives the opportunities and synchronicities that can truly bring your hopes and dreams into reality.

The Importance of a Financial Education

With all the turmoil surrounding the ongoing world financial crisis, I wanted to talk about a vital subject…and give another update and review of “The Conspiracy of the Rich” by Robert Kiyosaki.

It seems like I have been talking, thinking, and researching the current world financial situation a lot these days. (as probably many others have too) As much as we might want to go on with our lives and just forget about what’s happening out there…the simple fact is, this enormous problem is not going to just drift away.

Like it or not…I feel that these current financial times are making it necessary for each and every one of us to truly examine how we want both our personal and global financial futures to be. Now is the time to make a stand on how we want both ourselves and this world we live in to develop economically, spiritually, and health wise. (I will talk more about this at the end of this post)

Getting back to what I originally wanted to talk about…regardless of what occupation you are in (or plan to be in), it’s vital that you have a sound financial education. The simple fact is…most of us have not received an adequate financial education. A majority of the current educational systems (schools) out there provide very little in the form of proper financial education. Robert Kiyosaki talks about this in his new online book “The Conspiracy of the Rich”. In fact, Mr. Kiyosaki even goes on to point out that at least since 1904, our education system has been teaching people how to become good employees rather than teach people how to take charge of their own financial futures. (my own research into this subject indicates the same thing)

I admit that my own financial education was severely lacking until recent years. As I’ve worked to increase my own financial intelligence, it’s become obvious that the current financial situation was destined to happen. A simple review of history for the last 100 years in the U.S. will begin to paint the picture that is now our financial reality. (these events were highlighted in an earlier post) Combine these historical events with what has occurred in the last year…and it soon becomes obvious that many of us are in for some rough financial times in the near future. In essence, even the huge banking institutions and corporations out there have not been using sound financial principles to operate their respective businesses…which has had a profound impact for all of us.

In Robert Kiyosaki’s “The Conspiracy of the Rich: The 8 New Rules of Money”…the last chapters of the online book are devoted to helping us understand some basic financial principles, to understand the factors that are contributing to an uncertain future, and how you can create a better financial future for yourself through a sound financial education. If you have not already checked out this important work by Mr. Kiyosaki, I encourage you to check this valuable resource out before it goes to a publisher and is no longer available online for free.

In closing, I would just like to say that overall I found “The Conspiracy of the Rich” to be a very important resource for helping anyone to better understand why the world financial situation is where it’s at…and how you can learn to play the “financial game” to your favor. With that said, I guess I would also like to point out that even if we learn to “play the game” so to speak…will it be enough to overcome the financial meltdown that I’m confident is going to occur eventually. If there is in fact a global financial meltdown, I believe the ramifications are going to affect even the “rich”.

My own intensive research into our current world financial and political structure is telling me that maybe it’s time to introduce some new ways of approaching how resources are distributed and society as a whole is structured. Many out there are thinking this way also. (will address this in future post) As I continue to research these things further, I’m planning to start another blog to both reveal information I’ve found…and to provide a format to allow discussions on how best to implement these new approaches to economics and society in general.

May you continue to work to create a positive reality for both yourself and all those around you.

Till next time,

3 Powerful Tips for Profiting from Recession

by Tony Mase

© Tony Mase - All Rights Reserved[http://www.constructivescience.com]

*******************************************************************

As you might imagine, I’ve been asked a lot of questions lately that really boil down to “how do you make money in ‘this’ economy?”

My answer is always the same…The same exact way you make money in *any* “economy”!

It’s that simple. :-)

Personally, I think it’s a *HUGE* mistake to change what you’re doing every single time the financial wind blows, just as I think it’s a *HUGE* mistake to chase after “fads” and/or the latest “hot trends”. With any of these, the same exact thing usually ends up happening. Just about the time *you* figure out what “it” is and how to “profit” from it, it’s over with and once again you’re in the “wrong” business or profession.

That being said…In my opinion, the best way to “profit” from this so-called “recession” is to learn from it and apply its lessons in such a way as to never again be adversely affected by one.

To that end…Here are three powerful tips for profiting from “recession”:

Powerful Tip #1 - Choose the *ONE* business or profession you want to be in.

When you think of Bill Gates, what do you think of? Software, right? When you think of Warren Buffet, what do you think of? Investments, right? When you think of Michael Dell, what do you think of? Computers, right? When you think of Donald Trump, what do you think of? Real estate, right? When you think of Sam Walton, what do you think of? Discount stores, right? When you think of J. K. Rowling, what do you think of? Books, right? When you think of Ray Kroc, what do you think of? Fast food, right? When you think of Wayne Huizenga, what do you think of? Garbage, right? When you think of Oprah Winfrey, what do you think of? Television, right? When you think of Tiger Woods, what do you think of? Golf, right?
Besides having “a lot” of money, what do *all* these “rich” folks have in common?

Simple…They *ALL* made their “money”, at least initially, in *ONE* business or profession, the *ONE* business or profession they most wanted to be in, and they stayed in that *ONE* business or profession regardless of what the “economy” was or wasn’t doing at any given time. Need I say more? :-)

Powerful Tip #2 - Avoid speculation and debt.

There’s an old saying in the stock market that goes something like this: “The best way to make money in the stock market is not to lose any money in it.”

Well…Along the same line…In my opinion…The best way to profit from a “recession” is to avoid being leveled by one.

If you stop and think about it, there are essentially two groups of people who bore the brunt of the most recent financial “panic”:

1. Those who gambled (which, unless you know *exactly* what you’re doing is what it really boils down to) in something they knew absolutely nothing about (but, unfortunately, thought they did), usually in one of the financial markets and/or real estate.

2. Those who lived on credit.

My advice? Simple…Don’t you be one of them! :-)

Powerful Tip #3 - Develop multiple sources of revenue within your chosen business or profession.

If you have only one source of revenue from your chosen business or profession (a “job”, for example) and that source of revenue dramatically decreases or suddenly comes to a dead stop… To put it bluntly…You’re screwed! :-)

Whereas…If you have multiple sources of revenue within your chosen business or profession and one or more of those sources dramatically decreases or suddenly comes to a dead stop…

Though it may be an annoyance or inconvenience…It’s no big deal…As you still have income coming in from your other sources of revenue.

Just as there’s more than one way to “skin a cat”, as they say, there’s more than one way to make money in *ANY* business or profession. Your job, if you *really* want to profit from this so-called “recession”, is to find and develop them.

In closing, I’d like to leave you with this passage from an editorial Elizabeth Towne, publisher of Wallace D. Wattles’ classic masterpiece “The Science of Getting Rich”, wrote in the very early part of the last century commenting on what was the most recent financial “panic” of her day at the time: “It is the man who lives on margins that goes down in the bad-times waves.”

“While the man who deals out real benefits for the dollars he collects; who lives within his means; who banks where it is solidest, not where wild cats and high interest rates coax, and associates with those who do likewise, finds himself standing on the rocks watching the wreckage of credit schemes whirled by and down on the bad-times tides.”

That was true over one hundred years ago…And it’s still true today! :-)
