Emmett Mankin came to Jacksonville, FL in 1989 as a US Navy service member stationed at NAS Jax assigned to Patrol Squadron VP-16. He was a P-3 Anti-Submarine Warfare operator and part of a flight crew that would deploy across the Atlantic and Caribbean tracking and intercepting submarines and enforcing drug interdiction.

After separating from the active Navy in 1992, he joined the reserve at VP-62 while working and pursuing his education. In 1996 he joined John Hancock as a registered representative and began his career in the financial industry, building a practice that helped clients reach their financial goals. In 2001 he earned his Certified Financial Planning designation and continued building his practice with Allegiance Financial Advisors, and RIA.

In 2009, Emmett became a partner with Della Porta Financial Advisors and became the sole owner of this RIA in 2021. He changed the name to Future Financial Partners in 2022 and continued servicing his clients’ financial needs.

In October of 2024, Emmett Mankin and Jimmy Williams created Abundant Life Planning for the purpose of helping clients reach their financial goals while aligning their values with their finances.

Emmett Mankin is a Christian and his faith encompasses every aspect of his life. His faith is an integral part of his business, and his mission is to help both Christians and non-Christians with their financial goals. Emmett is a member and active participant of Christ’s Church (Mandarin Campus) in Jacksonville, FL. Emmett was married to Rita in 2002 and is the father of three amazing girls, Diana, Maria, and Gabriella. He currently lives in St. Johns County.
